Gourmet Dinner Parties

Sterling Cuisine’s catering division holds itself to the same caliber of food quality as our personal chef component. When an event is typically catered, it most often means, “serving pre-cooked meals from commercial food stores.” Everything Sterling Cuisine serves is made fresh, down to each sauce and marinade by our professional chefs. With our Gourmet Dinner Parties, we come into your home and prepare your meal right in your kitchen.

Special occasions require much more attention to detail and our standards make sure your expectations are exceeded. Each event is seen as a separate entity, based upon the needs of the client.

If you are part of a Dinner Club, or would like to arrange one here is how Sterling Cuisine coordinates such gatherings. There is a group of people who all share a passion for enjoying gourmet cuisine. Each club member has a roster of each club member’s phone number, email and address. Each club member takes a turn hosting a dinner party at their home. This can be monthly or every other month depending on the schedules of your members. When it’s your turn to host a dinner party, you call us up and we discuss what kind of theme you wish to have, any special requirements and then craft a meal plan according to your wishes. For example if you wanted to have a Mediterranean theme here is what your menu could look like: Hummus with warm pita, Yogurt Mousse with Apricot Sauce, Eggplant and Barley Salad, Lamb Shanks with Creamy Polenta, Roasted Mediterranean Vegetables with Grapefruit Gremolata & Almond Ouzo-Scented Cake with Chocolate Quince Sauce.

As the host you will need to coordinate your invitations and RSVPs and be able to give us a head count a week before your dinner. You will be responsible for the payment of the dinner party in full. Your club members can give you cash or checks prior to the dinner along with their RSVP or upon their arrival to your home.

Often times the host enjoys using his/her china and silverware and decorating his/her table settings, however if you’d like us to take care of flower arrangements, candles, decorations and any silverware, flatware we can accommodate such request for an additional cost.
